WAKING TO REDEMPTION
"They are a breath of fresh air" - Ferrit feet productions "Music at its finest" - Chim-Chim records If you like music and you think that the music scene is missing that "rock and roll feeling" than Waking to Redemption is right up your alley. They are an acoustic rock "jam band" from Bergen County N.J that just might captivate your mind, body and soul. Equiped with the're heart felt lyrics, catchy guitar licks, jazzy bass solos, and funk drumming at its finest, W2R is a tripple threat to anything standing in ther're way.
This group of musicians first banded together on the streets of Ridgewood sometime in the summer of 2004, where lead vocalist/guitarist Jason Indorato (of Dumont) was playing guitar outside of a local Starbucks when drummer Tom Curcio (of Fair Lawn) approached him about starting a band. The duo was joined by bassist Aram Kadehjian (of New Milford), or "Riff-Raff" as the guys like to call him, when Jay ran into him in Dumont and asked if he would be interested in joining. He agreed, and w2r was born. The group currently performs at a variety of venues around the Northern New Jersey and New York areas, and have released their demo album "Home". They are currently in the studio recording their EP, and plan to realese it sometime this spring. |
